Default Does it work?

Does the transgo 4l60e hd2 shift kit work in the 08 gm trucks? The site says 99-05 was just wondering if there is an issue cause I am goin with a yank tt3000, vette servos, and I would like to get a shift kit and I hear good things about transgo and was wondering.
