Default Dont want this rake anymore!!!

OK so i lowerd my truck put 3/4 ton keys in the front and removed the block out back and added the drop hangers.

My question is if i add the shackles will i have to C notch? and are there any other ways to drop my truck in the back about another inch or soo with out c notching.

Thanks

Bottom line is the axle will be closer to the frame no matter how you lower it. I ran a 5" rear drop on a 2wd with no notch and slim poly bumpstops and never had an issue. It bottomed from time to time but nothing too bad. If you want to be dropped and have full axle travel there's no way around notching IMO

But with just adding shackles I wouldn't guess you'd need a notch. Removing overload springs will get you about another inch, but will sacrifice spring rate and load capacity.
