I have an aluminum one from the Driveshaft Specialist. I don't know what it will hold up to power wise but diesel trucks run an aluminum driveshaft too so I'm hoping mine will be fine.

Well, I just talked to them and asked them about 5in al driveshaft torque rating.

They said they had a diesel truck that weights 8000lb pushing 1000 whp & 2200tq with 5in al.
