I took the transfer case down today, and it appears fine, but the driveshaft doesnt looks so lucky.

it could prolly still be used ... you come out alot better than i did when mine blew but i was goin like 130.... my adapter broke there was 3 peices of the shaft i found on the side of the road but they werent even half of the shaft....

Was that rear u-joint changed when you did the rear?

yea it was a 1330/1350 joint

Yeah i would def. change that drive shaft. Go ahead and get yourself a nice one. If your lifted...which it looks like you are. I would take another measurement to make sure that if it needs to be longer to eliminate a steep drive shaft angle. And check your rear axle if it needs to be shimmed to eliminate such problems down the road again. It seems that the u-joint that you had in there didnt last long from the way your talking.

You run lift springs right,do you have a shims that angle your pinion upward?I run lift blocks which make the angle.

I also had a custom DS made for mine after I destroyed my stock one.It is steel with 1350 u-joints and can handle 800 hp.

It doesn't look too terribly bad, I'd definitely check the pinion angle.

This was my angle after I did my rear



I have 5" superlift springs and the pinion angle looks pretty good to me. I want to get a new driveshaft, I was just hoping to get one when I wanted it, not needed it haha.

I think I might be able to score one cheap from a salvage yard or something for the mean time.

Dennys driveshaft comes highly recommended, right?

Denny's is suppose to be good. And that pinion doesn't look bad.
