I thought I read somewhere the angle at the front of the driveshaft and the chunk were supposed to be close to opposite of each other.

yikes, thats pretty nasty
I just off the phone with texas driveshaft specialist for a 4" 1/8th wall single piece driveshaft with all 1350s, im pretty physced.
I made my old one work for now, but there is a pretty wicked vibration, so its a good thing I dont have to drive fast.
