Default Drop gas tank for hotchkis install?

I have read that you need to drop the gas tank to install the hotchkis rear swaybar. Is this really true? If so, how hard is it to do and how much do you need to drop the tank.

Thanks,
Chris

On my hotchkis rear bar ('01 RCSB Z71), I was able to get the drivers side bracket into the frame rail through a hole in the side of the frame rail and then get it positioned correctly using a loop of string . . . some other guys have had similar success by using some wire to slide it into position . . . so NO, you don't have to drop the tank.

All I did with mine is loosen it and slide it to the side to get the bolt in/out. So, no, you dont have to drop it completely.
