drop gone bad?
Ok trying to diagnose my stupid drop
First I removed the rear bumper, spare tire and hitch so the rear of the truck went up pretty high due to the lack of weight. Used 2.5" drop shackles and measured before/after and the difference was spot on.
This time around, I put 2" drop spindles in the front, and took off the rear lift block, which is supposed to lower the truck an additional 2" for a total of 4.5" of drop.
Compared my truck to my friends sierra and its way off, his truck is leveled out nicely and my truck still has its *** up
so the question is, how to drop the rear a tiny bit more?

On the GMT900 trucks, removing the lift block only lowers the rear one inch.
To go down just a little bit more, you could clamp the rear leaf springs to the overload leaf (front & back), but it will ride rough. Otherwise, look into lowering springs, or a flip kit.
Personally, on a GMT900, I'd do a flip kit, and put a 1" lift shackle on it. That should be about a 5" drop, and will ride and handle nicely.

Now the whole problem is I dont want to drop it much, infact I will raise the front a tiny bit using whatever suspension I get for the front, im thinking of Icon coilovers but they are expensive and sure an overkill, but so is everything on this truck, overkill
