Default drop spindles or drop hangers?

Ya I'm gunna be dropping my truck pretty soon, a 2/4 drop, and I was wondering what are the advantages and disadvantages of spindles? Also pros and cons of lower control arms? I know u have to get a front end alignment with the LCAs, but anything else? Also anything bad about spindles? Thx

You have to get an alignment either way. Spindles usually give a better ride than LCA's. Some spindles you can only run 17" or bigger wheels. The spindles for 16" wheels increase turning radius.

I changed my suspension this past weekend on my 01 Tahoe. I had the DJM **** on it that had the lower control arms. I bought the Mcgaughys 2/3 kit and the ride and handleing is like night and day. The bumpsteer with the LCA was just crazy going over railroad tracks at about 25-30 mph the steering wheel would damn near jump out of my hand. Now going over the same tracks it feels like stock . The DJM shocks are crap for 50.00 each. I changed shocks out a couple times due to them being blown. The Mcgaughys parts are better designed IMO. I would highly recommend Mcgaughys parts. The ride quality is perfect. No more bounce and the horrible ride is now gone.

buy the spindles........only way to maintain factory geometry and ride quality. Mcgaughys makes an excellent kit.

also if you go with LCA's or SPINDLES you'll still need an alignment
