Angry Dropping a Z-71???

I have an 01 silverado 5.3 4wd... DJM has control arms to drop the front 3"s but, they dont have anything to drop the back a total of 5"s after removal of lift blocks... Does anyone know if it is possible to drop the front 3" and set the back level with it on a 4wd? Thanks!

lowering spindles for 2 inches then lower t-bar keys which can be adjusted to your tastes then there are hangers, remove a leaf and shackles to drop the rear besides removing the lift block

The back is the same as the back on a 2wd. For a 5" rear drop after removal of the blocks, I would do a flip kit and then use a lifting shackle. The flip kit will give you 6" and the lifting shackle will put it back up 1"

DJM told me that you can't do the same thing in the rear as a 2wd b/c the hangers are different, and it won't work. I ordered 3" hangers in the rear, and then they called me and told me it won't work b/c the hangers are diff... but for the front they do have the 3" control arms, and b/c i have torsion bars thats adjustable... the only problem is the rear. And they also said that a flip kit won't work, but he didn't know why it wouldn't work lol.

2" hangers? I need 3"s from what i have now... i already have shackles... a 3" hanger would be perfect.

I got somewhere between a 2/4 and 3/4 with Belltech keys, removing the lift blocks and Belltech 2" shackles. I'm sure that the ride quality is different than going with control arms or spindles, but it was quick and inexpensive

Thats not a bad way to go... i kinda want the effects of a 2/4 drop on a 2wd though... so probably an inch or two lower than what you have...

Go with Belltech keys and 2" spindles. That should be the 4" for the front.

Remove the lift blocks, put some 2" shackles and hangars on the rear. Should net you 6".

Which would be equal to a 2/4 on a 2wd.

With alot of these combos i think you will need a notch in the back.
