Are early 4l60e converters different then newer?
Just got done putting my transmission together. I had a local torque converter company build me up a torque converter....
I'll be damned if the thing wont go on. It goes on two clicks and then after 2 hours of fightin it I gave up.
Are the input shafts different or somethin?

This makes no sense then...!!! Grr I don't understand why im having so much trouble.
Need to find someone else around here to try so I know if im losing my mind or not.

I got a new stall that worked. but it looks like im pulling the transmission out if its not a tune issue. having all sorts of problems. 2-3 flare/no 3rd upshift. 1-2 overrev
