Plug in to Vss Sensor. What my currently wires now and need cut and slice swap to right for 80E. I know all I need to retune for 80E after wire change. Hope you dont mind to explain me a little clear. Crossmember you put plate it was 1/4 thick?
For the wiring there are 2 separate things you need to do.
1> Run the 2 new wires for the new VSS. You do not have these at all in a 60e truck. They will plug into the pin location at the PCM. There should be nothing there at all.
2> Move the wires around per the instructions in the current connector at the transmission.

Yes I used 1/4" plate. I would have used thicker if I could have found it.

Dont you mind if anybody can show me a exactly picture as draw with wire where need to be hook up. Because I gonna do swap 80es
I just struggles with wire. I still not get all that. I knew something with wires. But something need explain clear. VSS wire need to be red and blue wire to PCM which is brown and white? But now you say I have to do for speed sensor.... I dont know how to explain. I just want to learn for simple and trick! I see their pics. But I want see from my 60e change to 80e. I know how to swap tranny. It was so easy. But wire wire. Im die mind. Let me explain a clear. Brown and white from pcm or speed sensor which I should take out pin and the brown plug in white local so not need to use white. So what about VSS red and blue.

I think you are confused about the alternative wiring idea.

See if this helps

It is perfect one. So only hook up one vss and one speed sensor. DO I need buy VSS or speed sensor soemwhere or does my 60e have speed sensor one but not VSS right?

You are adding wiring for one VSS(ISS). The 4l60E only has one (rear) and there is wiring already there for that one. The 4l80e has 2 VSS's (vehicle speed sensors). You will use the existing wiring for the rear one and have to add the wiring for the second or front one.

The wiring in the connector has nothing to do with speed sensors. You are removing the white wire which is for the TCC control of the 60e. The 80E does not have a TCC solenoid. You then move the brown wire just to put it in the right place for the circuit.

If the 80E does not have 2 sensors in it then yes you will need to buy one. Yes you will need to make long wires that will run from the transmission to the PCM for the FRONT sensor. The wiring and connector is already there for the rear sensor.

Many thanks! If I have any problem I will holla with you. Also make sure you know my truck is 2 wheels. But I understood what you show. It is clearly.
