ECSB 4WD 4l60E to 4l80E

After doing some more reading I've found that PI can do an 80E "LS1 style" converter. No spacer or 6.0L flex plate required. If there is no big price difference I will do this route and keep my SFI flex plate.

Very nice write up I see this in my future. So the plug in the red circle is where pins 22 & 23 go to. It would be great if the big round main harness plug is plug and play.

The main harness is going to be gravy. I'll document it when I get there. But dismantle the connector. Move the brown wire to another spot and move the white wire to a location that isn't used in the connector.

More on the main connection harness.
I am going to use the 80e style connector. I dismantled it today.
The rear of the connector has a soft TPE seal that has the pin locations on it. Can't really see them in the pictures but identifies the pin locations. A thru W.
I'll dismantle the 60e style connector when the time comes and simply plug them into this connector. There will be the one white wire left that I will plug into a location that does nothing. This is the 80E connector pinout.

Installed the transfer case input shaft today..... yeah I wish it was so easy. Cost 113.59 shipped. Seems all transmission and drive line companies are on the west coast.
Came with this extra bearing. Guess I'll figure out where it goes when I tear down the transfer case.
Edit: Found it. Input Gear pilot bearing.
