Awesome write up!!! I was wondering where everyone is getting the 4L80E tune or calibration from?

With EFILive you can perform your own segment swaps, so all you need is a calibration file from a vehicle running the operating system as your own...but using the 4L80E and you can transfer the trans parameters and diagnostics to your own cal file.

Yep, I did my segment swap in about 5 minutes

this make me want a 4l80e. it seems everyone is happier after they do it. lol what sucks is i just bought a billet yank sc3200 converter.

Update for 4l80 factory tranny lines for non hd frames.

15812029
15267484

these lines will fit the factory cooler.

researched the 3/4 ton avs and subs to find them. They come wth 4l80 and dont have taller frames or body lifts.

are you saying those are a direct bolt in for 1500s? If so, that is great news, because I really wasn't all too interested in not having hard lines to my trans!
