This is what I've come up with for DS length and cross member modification. Lucky (or unlucky) enough to have an extra 65E laying around. Everything I've found on the net says the 60E should be 21.75 long. I've measured mine 3 times at 22 3/8.

Need to move the crossmember mount back about 2.5 inches. The DS shortened about 1.75 inches.

Hard parts are coming. Hope it doesn't go to crap from there

Ordered more parts yesterday, shift kit, trans lines, dip stick tube, shifter bracket, and bell housing cover. Breeze was kind enough to send me his old cross member. Dealer couldn't find the heat shield in their system. They're looking into that.

Hope to start modding the cross member this weekend.

when i get mine done we might can get the mods to sticky them together that way it will fully cover the 4 wheel and 2 wheel drive swap and then the wiring thread together wouldnt that be great.

I crawled under a couple trucks to check this. The transmission has tapped holes for 3 bolts on center connection but the pans don't have the holes in them... must have been some cost saving idea?

Trans 1073
Transgo 110
Transfer case input 114

Dip Stick and tube
Shifter bracket
Bell Housing Cover
Trans Lines 268

I have the stock converter and could start the swap as soon as I get the transgo in. Getting a PI converter. Prolly about $1000 with shipping. Maybe $40 bucks for fluid. $20 for filter and gasket. I'll also have to fill up the transfer case with the expensive GM stuff. No idea what I'm going to do for the drive shafts.... yet.

The cross member I got from Breeze was different. Didn't think about him being 2wd. It could be modded but might be beyond my skills. Gonna look at it hard this weekend.

Excited today to find the shift kit sitting on the porch when I got home.

Double checked everything. Got it off e-bay. Not my mistake.

To make sure it doesn't leak before I install it. It will sit like this over night.
