I have bilsteins on my tahoe couldn't ask for a better shock. I drive over 700 miles to work & the ride is still like new..

I've had bilsteins on other cars and have loved them. That being said, I love my Edelbrocks on my truck. Either way I think you'll be stoked.

Default Not Edelbrock Shocks for sure

I am still a little steamed but in my humble opinion Edelbrock shocks are not worth the money. I bought a set a few years ago when they were “lifetime warranted” after about 100,000 miles they were dead. I called Edelbrock and was told they were not covered because they wore out and didn’t break. I think if they don’t work they are broken.

I personally would not call that a lifetime warranty. Thanks but no thanks Edelbrock. I use to have tremendous respect for Edelbrock, but not any more.

Bilstein all the way...

not only do the internals work great their outter structures are durable to the elements more so than other brands as well.

I've heard numerous complaints about edelbrocks not holding up, internally. Also not having and exterior that is durable

Bilstein on mine as well. They seemed a little stiff at first but maybe that's because the OEM units were so worn out. Or maybe they just needed a few cycles. Either way They out lasted the factory set and still going strong.

I have bilstein on the front of my rcsb, they are a lil too sloppy in my opinion. Next set will be QA1 or pro shocks

This is an old thread for the 2003 I used to have. Anyway I ended up going with Bilstein HD shocks. They was a little too stiff for my liking on bad roads with potholes.

I have used both and couldn't tell you any difference between the two.

Bilstein does have a selection of either Heavy Duty or Comfort ride, though.

I ran Bilstein HDs all around on my truck with no complaints.
Then got a great deal on Rancho 9000XL Adjustables, now we really talking!!
Put the bilsteins on my dads 2004 and been running the ranchos ever since.
Its really nice to adjust them and get a good ride for daily and stiffen them up for towing.
