I went ahead and ordered up some caltracs today .. Should be here next fri.. Can't wait to see the difference in traction... Yeehaw Time to get the show on the road..

On street tires or have you tried anything sticky yet?

So far just street treads, so hopefully when the stickys go on it will really hook.. They will have to make a huge help on just reg tires, or atleast help to an extent of the 40mph burnouts

Your truck will thank you when you put the sticky tires on after you have the caltracs installed. I'm really interested to see how they help with street tires. If they show up next Friday will you have them on over the weekend?

They really dont help much with street tires. You will see a huge difference with sticky rubber.

X2 they only help if you have the rubber to plant the power.

With the power you're putting out you're gonna have to invest in some drag racing tires and keep the caltracs.
