ET gains with bogarts
Seems like all the 2wd trucks putting down great ets are running Bogarts and skinnies up front. Been reading and 1 lb of rotational mass equals 4-10 lbs according to different sources. A buddy of mine is waiting on wheels and just trying to see what can be expected. We calculated a 146 lb drop going from 20" wheels with drag radials to bogarts front and back.

A friend put light wheels and skinnies on and no other change. DA difference was about 20 ft difference. Everything else was the same and he picked up .2 on et and about 2.5 mph. 1 lb of rotational mass is equal to 4 lbs of dead weight. If you can reduce wheel and tire weight by 50 lbs total it would be equivalent to removing 200 lbs from the truck.

I just converted my truck to five-lug. NOT MOSER, I DID. I went from JG 20's to 17X4.5 and 17X10 racelite's. Dropped almost 160lbs from JG Wheels. DR's on the street I can pull front wheels about 2 inch's. Haven't been to a track yet.....15's are just to small and the JG trucks run the 13" rotors up front.
