Tru Trac is a locker which has a mechanical way of locking the axles to resist one axle overpowering the other.

Dura grip is a posi which uses clutches and springs to resist the same forces.

Most guys would recommend the Tru Trac. It's tried and true. The posi clutches can wear over time and loosen up.

If you went posi I would recommend the the heavier springs. Standard I believe is a 400 PSI springs and Eaton has 800 PSI springs. I believe the Dura grip is a copy of the Eaton not sure if they over the heavier springs for an upgrade.
