Fbody 60e in a silvy?

Thanks for you help guys I really appericate it

So I just get the tranny bolt it up an get a drive shaft and I'm done I'm I understanding this correctly?

Sounds like all you need is the tailshaft housing (which was my assumption as per our PM's but I wasn't sure so didn't want to lead you the wrong way )

How about the torque converter, will the f-body verter work too?

don't forget the linkage bar will have to be changed because the truck has the external switch and the f body does not. Like I said it's not a big deal.

How about the torque converter Andy, are all LS/60E converters a direct swap?

it will work, the only thing you need to swap out is the shifter lever shaft. f bodies have a short shifter lever shaft and trucks have a longer one because the trucks have the safety neutral switch installed there and f bodies don't

I have done the swap and other than the shift arm its a direct bolt in. I used the converter from the f-body as well. The truck trans pan is deeper and holds a little more fluid, so I would suggest you swap those also.
