Default Final decision on a new 4l60e for a 6.0..what to go with?

I swapped a 6.0 into my 4x4 tahoe in the summer and the stock 4l60e is finally on its way out..It has a hd2 shift kit and servo, but it has 160k on it so it was on borrowed time..1-2 shift is perfect and crisp, slips going into 3rd, but will hold 3rd when i give it gas. slips into 4th and i have a hard time holding 4th. have to feather the gas on inclines on the interstate or else it slips up to 6k..

Its a stock LQ4 with efans, 93 octane BB tune, intake, and exhaust. My only other plans are a cam, longtubes and a converter with the trans. I wouldnt think id be much over 400 hp in the end..

heres what I have so far

performabuilt is 1600 without a converter for level one..up to 500 hp, 1840 for a level 2 without converter..

1300 for a rossler street and strip, plus a core and shipping..

Flt is 1650 (1485 with 10%) plus free shipping back on the core..

Now i plan on going with a 3200-3600 stall for the truck as many people say it would be fine for a daily, but im not sure..

id like to be able to get a trans and stall for under 2k, as thats the max i can spend...

any other options out there or deals to be found? I would be looking to buy after tax returns in spring..Thanks for the help

In my opinion your going to want a little stronger trans because of the weight of your ride.

Save some more money and buy the next level up from what you think you need. When mine goes out I'll be going with an FLT Level 7. These heavy-a$$ed trucks need the best you can buy if you are staying with a 4L60/65E.

thats a possibility as well..i need to go around locally and see what the shops say..

i mean my trans right now is perfect besides the 3/4 clutch pack being worn out...the 1/2 shift chirps the tires if im on it hard and its shifted perfect since the day i put the kit in...just the damn clutch pack went out

im pretty sure the trans would still be fine if i didnt have issues with it to being with..it was low on fluid because i had a major leak, and it wasnt hitting 2nd gear because of the servo..

then i fixed the servo, but the cover popped off and i lost the fluid and tried to limp it home before i knew that the fluid was leaking out...
