Finished T56 installation ... no cruise in 5th or 6th
Just finished installing my SSR t56 in my truck . Everything went well , except I don't have cruise in 5th or 6th gears. It works in 3rd and 4th. WTF ! Could it be in the programing ? My speedo seems to be correct . Any input is appreciated.

It's possible, I was probably going 65 mph, and 1400 rpms..
Which brings up another question . What is a good rear gear for my combo.? a 4:11 or a 4:30 if one is available ?

you might think im crazy but math dont lie... i run 4.88s i have 29.5" tall tires. i cruise at 70mph at 1800 rpms
i shift out of 3rd at 7k i max 4th gear out at 130 {7500 redline}
first is just as normal as anything else

I bet with the RPMs that low something is telling the Auto Pilot its a no go...
As for gears my 4.56's and my 4L80e spin 2,500rpms at 65mph so, yeah 4.56 or 4.88's like Quick is running should work just great for you with that 6spd IMHO... I bet you will have some wicked pull with that type of gearing too!!!!

My cruise has never worked either. I haven't taken the time to fix it though.
I have 4.30's with my 275/55-20's that are 31.5" tall and i'm about to go to 4.88's.
