Default Flexplate: to buy or not to buy??

So i just got my Level 6 trans built by Vince B @TDE, and i ordered my Yank PTB3600 converter yesterday from Dave @Yank. My question now is... Should i buy an SFI approved flexplate? I've heard mixed feelings about this. Some guys say im fine with a stock one and have had no problems, but i've also heard of guys cracking stock plates with a high stall. What you guys think? I know the obvious answer is "better to be safe than sorry" but still.... Just wanna see what you guys think.

You can get a SFI approved one for like $200. Its cheap insurance. Also ARP cranks bolts are like $50 mite as well get those too. I know I did.

My TCI sfi plate came with bolts. Like $225 from jegs. Whats another $200 on top of the 2500 you just spent on a tranny? Cheap insurance.

Yeah, I'll probably end up putting a new plate in. Did you guys have any problems with your TCI plates? I've heard they are a pain to line up the bolt holes.

I had a slight issue with the TCI big flexplate and ARP torque converter bolts...the bolt heads will hit the rear cover bolts and back of the oil pan with the thicker flexplate.
