Flexplate fitment issue...
Hey guys, have a 2005 lq4 with mated 4l80e. Bought an aftermarket TQ converter with the LS 3 bolt pattern, and then bought a Yank LS SFI flexplate to match it up. Only thing is that it doesn't come with a spacer and I am assuming it needs one since otherwise the bolts going to the crank are too long. Can I reuse the spacer off the stock flexplate or do I need shorter flexplate bolts? Anyone know?

Currently the ARP bolts I have are .880 under head length, but this makes them about .200 too long.

After I installed the first bolt it felt as if it was bottoming out before being totally screwed in, but instead it was resistance I was feeling all along. After re-tightening the bolt it screwed all the way with no problem. It was no wonder why I couldn't find a shorter set of bolts! lol Thanks guys!
