got the DJM flip kit on the rear end of my 00' silverado 2wd. replaced the DJMfront lower control arms with the mccaughey spindle and springs, major improvement in ride. i get real bad wheel hop and i know caltracs are awseome and all that but i think it may be this micky mouse flip kit. i have seen cool threads some of yall have posted on how to make them yourself but time, a place to work on it and a welder are in short supply. my question, is the mccaughey's flip kit much better than the DJM?

 

For ride quality, a flip kit is a flip kit. Where McGauhys is better in DJM is in the quality of metals and design. It will not ride any differently.

 

Stop wasting time and money......just do a 4 link with coils

yeah i know the ride quality will not change i just want to get rid of the DJM stuff. the metal plates and brackets just seem cheap, they actually bend slightly when i tighten them with a ratchet. wasnt putting excessive amount of torque on it either. just at my wits end with this wheel hop.
