Default Flip kit with raise shackles for 4 inch drop

Wondering if anyone has or knows if it's been done. I want to do a flip kit on my 2000 extended cab. But raise it back up with shackles and make it a 4 inch drop total .Would this be done with 2 inch lift shackles or how would I go about doing it? Reason for the flip kit is for the tractions bars I have they mount under the flip kit.

Flip kits usually get you a 4” drop, you would need stock shackles to be 4” rear drop, the lift shackles will drop the truck more

I've never seen a flip kit advertised to give 4 inches of drop ^^^, only ever 6in.

My old truck I never could find a 2 inch lift shackle so I did a 2 inch add a leaf - spring, either one will work for your idea tho

This must have been what I was thinking of..... for some reason I was thinking the flip kit was 4” plus shackles to get you 6” or rear drop

A notch really isn't that hard to do.

With that being said, when I flipped my axle, I went with raised shackles. Never had an issue.

Double-check your pinion angle.

Are you at a 4 inch with the lift shackle?

Is there anyway you can measure from bolt to bolt on your shackle. My truck came with lowering shackles I need to see if I can do the 4 inch. If not I'll do the 3/5 drop
