Default FLT Level 4 or 5?

Im wondering what trans to get. I want the 4l65e lvl 5 but i also want to install a FMIC. The money that i would save going with the 4l60e lvl 4 would cover this mod. Im wondering what would be the best trans for my application. The only future mods i have are maybe a 6.0 swap in the future and the mods i have in my sig. to be installed. The truck will only see the track about 5 times a year. I need some help because my stock trans has just about had it, and i want to get it ordered asap seeing that im taking it easy on the trans now so it will make it till then.

any chance of a boost increase in the future

btw a flt level 5 65e is rated for 550rwhp MAX if over that you need 80e

level 5 65e at least. but, if you don't want to take the chance, i'd consider an 80e. you're right near the threshold of the 65e.

I spoke with Vince at FLT a few days ago about the same question. Although I am staying N/A cam and maybe LS6 intake swap eventually. He suggested for me that if I stay under 400HP to the wheels, the Lvl 4 should be plenty, but with FI and 4x4 and if you run it at the track any, I wouldn't even consider anything but the Lvl 5.
