I had both the bottom and top line pop out within a 1 week period. Both times I lost 5 quarts of tranny fluid. Guess I don't need to worry about changing the fluid for a while. I got rid of the stock connectors and used screw in connectors and barbed fittings with metal clamps. Suckers won't come out now.

i guess all this wouldnt be so bad but i have had my truck in the dealership 3 times before when they were searching for a leak i had on it. It turned out to be my bottom tranny hose that time. The fitting that goes intot he the tranny was screwed up from my installer. We really need a good speed shop up here.

All of the stuff that you said is damaged should be very easy to replace. I wouldn't go overboard and sell it just yet. I bet you'll have an hour or two of work and maybe $100 or so in parts and she'll be back on the road good as new, if you do the work yourself.

Well I'm glad I wasnt the only one who had this happen! I thought I was gonna have heart attack one day. My brother was riding with me and i looked back and the road behind me was full of smoke! No big problem though. Got it some more fluids, got it over to a buddies diesel shop, and he gave me some new hoses and some better clamps! No problems since
