You need a carrier bearing shim if it has a 2 piece driveshaft... if not you need to get wedged shims to put between the leaf springs and the axle housing.... your problem should be fixed.
Eating universals can be a sign of bad working angles in the drive line. There must be at least 1 degree of working angle,think thats the number been awhile since reading, or the needles won't load and spin.
I have the adjustable flip kit and the pinion angle is set within factory specs. Vibe is still there, because I set it and still had it. Then took it to a good friend of mine that builds race cars and he said it was spot on.
