Default Found the culprit!

Found out what the popping noise was. Also saw the ring and pinion are getting worn so that's next on the to do list.

Yep.... that'll do it... I had the same thing happen with my stocker. I didn't completely break that pin though.

and your cross pin looks like a weird 2 peice setup.

Replaced the spider gears already and gonna order some 4.10's. The pin had to be torched out cuz the end was worn like a **** and was hung up.

I hear ya there man. I just started a new job and 2 months later I am still paying for "moving related" expenses lol.
