Default frame notching...

With my amount of drop, I have made the conclusion that I am bottoming out on launch and when it rebounds, it unloads the tires... killing any chance of a 60' I may have... With that being said, I need to do some sort of notch. Its been a while since I layed eyes on one of the bolt in notches but from what I remember, I'm sure I can build one...

Does anyone have any pics of the bolt-in type notches??? I am sure, they cant be that complicated. I have a bunch of plate and a MIG welder waiting... just needs pics. Thanks...

I have everything sitting here and the time to build it though... why not save $90 or so if I can... I enjoy fabricating stuff like this, I just need some kind of pic to go by and then I'll adjust it to the way I want it in my own truck... most times, I buy something from a dealer or whatever and there's always something I dont like or that I'd change about it.

Here is the djm notch, same as on my truck

And the Belltech notch that wraps the frame (I think Mcgaughy's is the same)

What size MIG do you have a 110 or 220? I would not even think about using a 110 on frame, but that is just my opinion....

I'm going to build it with my 110 but I have an old lincold stick welder that I'll be putting it in the frame with, plus probably 6 1/2" grade 8 bolts on each notch... even cranked all the way up I dont trust the penetration of the 110 either. I'm not a "welder" but I can stick **** together where it doesnt come apart LOL...
