I just changed the pinion seal on the rearend of my truck, It wasn't too bad, the front shouldn't be any different. I just pulled the d-shaft, took the pinion nut off, got a small two jaw puller to pull the yoke off, and basically hammered the old seal out with a screwdriver. Just hammer it in from the side, and then pry outwards. It takes some effort, but it worked. After I got it out, I just tapped the new one in with a hammer, put the yoke back on, and with a new pinion nut, torqued everything back down and re-installed the d-shaft. Make sure to get a new pinion nut though.

All I replaced was the pinion nut and of course the seal. I'm not sure of the torque spec either, I just tightened it back to what felt like where it was.. It worked, but I would torque it if I had the specs.
