Front Wheel Bearing/Hub Whining?

Front Wheel Bearing/Hub Whining?
I seem to have a slight whining sound when accelerating and it seems to be coming from the passenger side front wheel. I've heard wheel bearing problems in other vehicles, and it's more of a howling noise than a whine. The sound is not extremely loud, and is somewhat intermittent (heard more after the truck has been sitting). Has anyone had a similar problem with a wheel bearing and experienced similar symptoms?

I've heard them squeak, howl, scratch, hum, and whine. Just depends on what kind of damage has occured inside. Have you tried jacking it up and shacking or spinning the wheel yet? When they are getting real bad there is usually a noticable amount of play.

Mine went out and I fixed it
When it was going out it sounded exactly like brakes and it was intermittent
Like stated about jack front up shake it, spin it and hell even put a bar under like u were checking joints you never know what u might find
Sounds like to me a wheel bearing
