Kenny, ive beat the crap out of my fuddle 2.1 3400 for over a year now, ive sprayed 325hp nitrous on it, pulled a trailer with 4000 truck behind it and never had any trouble.

You could always call Midwest converters. They make a nice 80e converter. For reference that is what Mike Brown had in his race car when it had an 80e, running mid 8's.

I have a 2800 triple disc. It feels tight w/ easy part throttle acceleration around town. Feels great when you put your foot into it. I would like a little higher stall but I tow a boat too so i went w/ a 2800 to be safe.
