Default Fuddle STR ?'s

4x4 guys espically... what STR did you get on your converters?

im thinking of the 2800 with like 2.6STR or a 3000 with 2.4STR
either way, i just want to be able to turn these heavy tires over lol

im not sure if you can pick your own str or not

thanks in advance

Your str is going to be directly proportional to you stall speed. In order to increase your str, you are going to have to go up in stall as well. So fyi.. mine is supposed to be a 3200/2.2str. It flashes a bit higher than that so who knows about the actual str. When I got mine, options were 3000rpm/2.1str, 3200/2.2 or 3400/2.3. This is from the HP Truck line of 9.5" converters.

The STR is the TC's stall torque ratio, in a TC with a 2.5 STR if you input 100 lb/ft of torque you will get 250 lb/ft out of it.

im aware of all that, but with yanks in the past ive told them the STR I wanted... for example, the yank2800 i ordered came with 2.5STR, but i told them I wanted 3.0 and thats what they gave me.

I didnt know if fuddle could do the same or not? Ive tried calling and emailing but they are busy 24/7
