Default Fuddle TQ's

ive been doin a lil research on torque converters lately.
im tryin to figure out which to get.
From what ive heard Fuddle is a great one?
$600 shipped
is there a significant differerance from a 3k to a 3500?
this is my DD, Tow truck(about 4klbs on some weekends), but i want it to be able to get up and go. I already have a Trans Cooler, its pretty big.
I will have 3.73s in by the time i get the TQ converter, and some time in the future im hopin for a TR220 cam or something bout like that.

any suggestions or comments??

if you are gonna two i would say stick with a 3k stall converter. make sure you do get the triple disc truck converter and not the ls1 car version. i think he said i can still tow up to 6K with mine. i have a 3200 stall 2.2 str

i just bought a hi performance 3000 stall w/ 2.0 str for my '93 project.
it looks like he's starting to sell a hd truck series verter which would prolly be what you would need because of towing...
i told john that i dont plan to tow anything and he recomended me the hp 3000 for the 80e w/ 2.0 str...

i actually have the car version due to funds and the fact i dont tow ever and john said it would work just fine but if you are gonna tow 4k lbs i would at least get the HP/truck or even the heavy duty one

I got the 3.73s for $130 and im not sure.. haha..
how much better would 4.10s help? or hurt?
I mostly just drive the truck, weekends i tow our 4wheeler trailer, and then some times we go race. So its an all around truck.
But if its worth it, i would go to 4.10s, anybody want to trade 3.73s for 4.10s???

Is the HD Torque converter for the 60E?
im still goin to use my truck for what it was made for, then ill be racing it some also.

I put the E-fans in the other night, ive been runnin the truck pretty hard. Even pulling our 4wheelers to my friends house, i averaged 17.5mpg. So i didnt think thats too bad. i use to get 15.5-16 runnin it hard all week.

Im supprised on how much the fans never have to be used! Only time i have to turn them on, is when im in town or sittin still with the A/C on.. other than that, it never gets over 195-200*.

i think it would be worth it especially if you installed them yourself or found somewhere to do it relatively cheap

I know a guy that only charges $150 for a install, and he is top notch!
Problem is, i now have the 3.73s and need to get rid of them for some 4.10s..
Should i get factory ones?
What MPG u get Soon-To-Be-Spooled? with the mods you have currently?

HAHA my mpg is terrible especially after the converter, before converter it was about 12 with strict city driving now i think its about 10 BUT i am gonna see about getting the PCM reflashed because i think im running rich. yours should be considerably better due to your stock cam though too
