some guys put wooded blocks between the upper control arm and the little lip below it. others have bolted straps to the frame and lower control arm. it would suck for a ride around town but ok for track.

so how much closer is the 14bolt cover to the panhard bar than the 10bolt cover? and do you think the 14bolt would benefit much from a girdle cover?

the girdle cover won't fit with the pan hard bar, I have about 3/8" from the stock cover.

its a real tight fit.

i looking more into why the edelbrock tubular panhard rod wouldn't fit. could a person build one from thick dom tubing and bend it around the cover where needed. then put gussets in the bends?

i seen a few aftermarket ones for other cars like that, which is why i ask. i figure you would want a thicker dom tube than a car. but with a good gusset, it should be strong and could use stock mounting points.
