ha, this might be true about your new garage. Hopefully it's the last time for a while that it'll be sitting there

The gears are in and everything feels good so far. Just a few miles off of the 500 mile mark for break in. I'll post some pics from Brian's install later when I have more time. Maybe in a few weeks I'll have track times as well.

Ive ran Lucas Oil stablizer in the rear diff before.. haha it actually helped the G80 lock better when it was goin out.. put the Eaton in there about 50k miles ago and the stock 3.42s have 200k miles on them now. I just put some gear oil in it and be done.. ive mixed a few different brands before the Eaton LSD cause i didnt have enough of what i needed.

Now with the LSD its got what it needs with the friction modifier.

You certainly don't waste any time. Just remember to change the fluid after 500 miles and let er' rip. This thread will require a picture of two black tire marks on the pavement.

Tell Zach to melt your old G80 into a paper weight and sell it on ebay.

ha yea, driving way out to sugarland friday night helped put some miles on it. Saturday I found myself just driving wherever to get miles on it. I'm going to probably change the oil on Friday along with my motor oil. What weight do you recommend going with? The same 80w90? I don't have time to make it up to RP to get gear oil this week, but I will definitely get some eventually. Thanks again for taking the trip out here to do the gear/diff install. We need to hookup sometime at the meets and BS some more.

I was more happy than you were I guarantee you. It sucked not driving it for over a week

ha, might you film it for me? Maybe we could get me and zach laying some down in the same video. And maybe his G80 will blowup when he gets traction
