Pics!

I wish I could roll around with that much wider of a stance just to mess with people

Brian doing his thing...

The wear pattern, looked good to me!

Thanks again Brian, it's nice having traction now. Also, not having to worry about blowing my G80 every time I hammer it around the corner is kinda nice

I can't remember it was before or after that pic that I missed the punch and smacked my hand. Ah well.

BTW, I plan on making an effort to go to some of these meets once I get back on my feet. I need to put a face to the name.

I'll take you up on the gear oil offer. We don't need little tires to get them spinning, trust me. You should see Zach's marks on 2351, holy long burnout marks batman.

I haven't accomplished much except blowing up a 60E, a G80, and some tires

Good luck on the job hunt, with your degree you should be able to find something I would assume. If you have an idea of what you're looking for I might know some people...

Yeah so today I was on my way to the shop and I downshifted into first and it seemed to not really accelerate like it does in first. It kinda surprised me a bit, but it was fine all the way to work. At lunch I was on my way to eat and noticed third and fourth are slipping. First seems perfectly fine and so does second gear. Fluid level is okay, but the fluid smells a little burnt.

I dropped the truck off at the shop who built the trans, I'm curious to see what he says tomorrow.

Not sure. I talked with the guy (David) and he said they would take a look at it. I'm wondering if it's just my 3/4 clutch pack or if it maybe is some of my forward clutches. I figure if my forward clutches were spent I wouldn't be able to use first gear. I'm sure Frank from performabuilt would know

btw, I purchased all the parts and had a local guy build it. My buddy Zach had the same guy do his 80e before I used him. I'm almost thinking just throw the shift kit in the core I took out of my truck and rock that for a while. I really just hope my converter didn't get damaged by any of this slipping.

At least I have a perfectly fine backup I can put in there. Not that I want to go that route...
