Default gear swap..

what size pinion shim have you guys ended up using?...

im going to start with a .38 and go from there. hopefully it wont take more than 2 trys!

I have done a lot of gearsets. I always start with the factory original shim, and most times it is right with no changes.

when i built my blazer rear end i used the same shims just added a tiny shim for carrier preload

I've never done one but i've watched and usually start with the factory shim and then +- as needed.
