Default gear swap Q's

im going to change my factory crap 3.23's and was looking at 3.73's or 4.10's. my truck is a DD so which is more streetable, what about after 20's? and i have the factory diff locker, is there anything i need to change to keep this or something else i should buy other than the gears itself? thanks

A ring and pinion set and the parts to install are all you will need. I'd probably go with the 4.10's if I planned on 20" wheels.

do you have a G-80 or open diff?
if you do alot of highway driving i would suggest 3:73s
Both gears are very streetable

If you have one wheel peel then you will want an aftermarket LSD
If you have a G-80 then i would suggest getting a aftermarket LSD. You might as well change it now why you are there.

good LSD's

Eaton LSD
Detroit tru trac LSD
yukon Duragrip LSD

Some good gears:

Yukon
Motive
