Not me, but I thought it would be pretty cool. I have considered it before, but not before I have a solid tranny to work w/. If built 60e won't hold up for what I have planned, then I'll go to 80e. That way, I don't have to worry bout a new driveshaft but once.
A GV would provide splits to stay in powerband, & maybe a slight MPG boost too. They're unfortunately $$$. And I'm waitin to see if more retrofit 6sp auto kits come out. I can't see $6k for a 6X from TCI/F.A.S.T. Honestly, I'd rather just pop a 6L80E in & be done. Now, the aftermkt. just needs to step forward w/. more economical swap kits & I think people will do a swap on their rides.
I'm all for performance & gas mileage benefits, but not if it kills my wallet.

A friend had one on a old F-350 that worked great with his C6 transmission, and I've talked to a few guys who do hot shotting when I drove long haul. They loved it couse they could gear for big hills, and use the OD for the long flat mid-west. But with the newer motors and OD transmissions there not as nessacary becouse the transmission does that for you.
I though if I went 4.56 gears I could use the 20% OD version, but that takes me to roughly 3.90 gears. Plus on a 4.8 the MPG difference is very small if any, and on a 6.0 or a 408 you would ignite the tires anways so you'd probily run 4.11's or less depending on tire and convertor size.
BUt if your running some really deep gears like 5.13's and 35" tires for offroading and want to get down the freeway I can see it being usefull.
Look up US Gear there cheaper, but the unit is just as strong. It just does not split gears like the GV unit which to me is not that big of deal.
