Default gearing info

i have a 2005 gmc sierra with a4.8l and 3.42 gears.i just bought a 6.0l motor to swap with,my question is with 35 inch tires what gear combo should i be running with the 6.0l motor

I run 4:56's and love em, I think they are perfect, 13/16 mpg some people prefer 4:10's for a little better highway mileage, but to each their own

i run 4:56's as well the rpm's are a little high on the highway. but around town there perfect.

at 65-68ish im right at 2k rpms

your rpms are a little lower than mine, at 65 im right around 2300k.

with a 35 inch tire you could probably run 4.88's. at least 4.56's. i have a 29 inch tire and run 4.10's. all depends on what u want

well i have land in the country so i do alot of hiway driving,if i was going to go with 4.10 can i buy them from GM. would like oe gears if possible
