I sold my pinion depth gauge a couple years back, i could do the backlash but I cant properly set the pinion. I called around little rock and got quoted 300-600 for labor...lol I know what it takes to do and anything over 300 is steep to me. I am letting a friend of mine set it up. He's in my hometown from eastern arkansas and hes gonna do it for 150.

Sounds good. There is a place just off of i430 and Rodney parham that quoted me a decent price, but it wasn't that good. You doing a true trac too?

No trutrac, I'm saving some some moola right now. I will likely do a good psoi when I do a driveshaft.

Yeah, it will stay on radials util the driveshaft and posi are in. But if the g80 *****, that gives me a reason to go ahead and replace it. I think ittl be fine for a lil while. They will hold a little power, but I won't push my luck for too long.

Good deal man! I think i dropped .5 in the 1/8th with 4.10s and trutrac years ago... I plan on sending my driveshaft off to get it high speed balanced soon...

Many moons ago when I was running a '90 F150 with a 5.0 from a GT, swapping from 3.55's to 4.10's dropped .6 in the 1/4. Took it from 16.6s to 16.0s.

I've got an 07 crew cab(nbs) & I went from 3.23s to 4.10's & truetrac. I've got mad vibration from 80-90mph. I either need to get my 1 piece driveshaft balanced or change over to the 2piece extended cab driveshaft & add a crossmember.

edit: oh yeah, it cost me $250 to have the gears/truetrac installed.
