Gears vs mileage
I have to open this can of worms again, but what mileage are you guys getting with 4.10 that swapped from 3.23? I have 3.23 in my 06 and I get about 22mpg, just wondering what it would go to.

Right.
City driving would improve with less strain on the drivetrain too. Highway would use a little bit more fuel.
3.23's dont belong on a pick-up truck to begin with.
If you want performance you pay. Go with the 4.10's unless you plan on going FI in the future.

I went from 3.23's to 4.10's in my crew cab (lifted w/ 33's). I probably averaged about 18 mpg with a mix of city/highway before the swap. I probably average 16-17 now driving the same way.
If you put any value on enjoying driving your truck, it will be worth the small marginal decrease in mileage.
