Get truck to ride like a Cadillac!
I know this questions has been asked a lot but seeing that there is all kinds of shocks now and coil over conversions. Just wanted to see what reviews y'all have on them. Shocks on my truck are shot already so ride quality sucks right now. Already ordered new tires for the truck. Going with 305/40/22 hoping that helps it out a little. Going to get 3" in DJM control arms and a flip kit out back with a lift shackle. All this is going on a 2WD Silverado SS. Really liking the vi-king shocks and struts. Anyone else got other opinions that is willing to help. Wanna get the most smoothest ride possible and able to take to the track maybe once or twice a year and have no problems

Atomic's coil over swap for the front to replace the torsion bars would seem like a big step toward better ride quality. I have not done it personally but I have been tempted for a while now.

Atomic, are you SURE I can't use your coil over setup with the DJM control arms? Within a month of doing the DJM swap/drop on my truck is when I learned about your setup. I'd love to have that setup. But of course I threw my stock upper/lower arms away .

I have a gauge for that

Well, you could certainly try. You wouldn't need my lower brackets, only the uppers if you wanted to use them. Looking at the DJM LCA I am not sure about UCA clearance, and more importantly the strength of that shock tab. My brackets are 3/8" thick steel, that tab on the DJM arm looks like awfully weak in comparison.
I bet you could find somebody local to trade you + cash if you really wanted
