Default Getting the 60" foots under 1.9

I have a very hard time Launching at or above 2800 RPM without getting alot of bounce/wheel spin. I think if I pull the blocks out of the rear end and lower the front some it may help.. ANY thought?....... Ideas? BESIDES getting a torque converter, lol I think I could get a low 12 if my first couple hundred feet were faster......

Lowering the front torsion bars until the tierods are about level, or even a little up hill will help the bump steer out a TON. It will keep the front wheels from wanting to "toe in" as bad and help traction a lot!

Cool That what I was hoping for. How much would spring clamps help?

Well I just removed the blocks and droped the front-end. I also put on some 245 75 16 tires. Damn they are easy to spin. I hope the tire size don't hurt my 60' foots..

Have you tried launching in 4wd then as soon as your moving hit the 2wd button. I get consistant 60fts everytime and they are .02 within my best 60ft ever in 2wd

When I sprayed my truck and with the 418 the t-case would never shift out of 4wd without letting off and many others have had the same thing happen. I guess once you reach a certain power level the t-case cant shift out anymore.

Dropping the fornt t-bars helps alot. I never tried it at the track but back when I had bolt ons, 3K stall, tune and 100 shot on the street with the t-bars normal the front would get real squirrely but when dropped down about 5 full turns it would jsut raise up a bit and go so Im sure that woudl net some nice gains. I personally never felt/saw any difference with teh spring clamps. You can get them at autozone for like 12 bucks. You may also try some cal tracs it will keep the rear end lined out and probably help the front, Im going to try it and see what happens.

You ever thought about DRs on all 4?
