Default Circle-D GM 278mm HP 4L80 LS Torque Converter

Who's running this Circle-D Converter and on what setup. How do you like it? I need a stall for my CCSB and thought this might fit the bill.

Are you running this 278mm converter? I was wondering because it looks like it would be a lower cost alternative to an 1100 dollar converter and would be alot lighter than the stocker.

I've put this converter in a couple of trucks for other guys, you can brake stall it to about 2800 and it flashed to 3200 when you nail it, and it also kept your rpm above 4k on the shift drops even shifting at 6k. I thought it was a pretty good converter, I recommend it to anyone that's after a nice street converter that's on a budget.

This is the feedback I was lookin for. I talked to Chris today about it going behind my 4.8 with a 70mm turbo and he thought it would do fine.I would just run the stocker thats in the trans but it came from a diesel.
