GMPP Supermatic
I just got a copy of the 2010 GMPP catalog ( awesome BTW ! )
And saw they offer a Supermatic 4L70E That is designed for high horsepower street / strip applications.
Anyone know more about this Trans? Im assuming it has a warranty?
Wander if it will hold up to my Plans ( 2000 Z71 5.3 , cammed, Getting a KB Front mount kit soon)???
Wander the cost, and if its priced less than a different brand of Built trans .
I just want thoughts and info on this Transmission please, Not a Buy this XYZ trans or ABC trans.
Thanks!

OK Just talked to S D P C. Its the M70 4L70E Superduty transmission.
Its basically the TBSS trans. They told me that GM High tech bolted one to an LSX 454 600 horse crate engine installed in a 02 camaro and repeatedly beat on it at the Dragstrip with no issues.
Should work nicely with my future setup ( Turbo , anticipated 500 horse)
Plus this trans has a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty. 2280$ , or 1580 with Core return!
What do you guys think?

Yeah The dealer will warranty it for 3 years , 100, 000 miles.
My Local dealer has a few Bolt on TBSS 's that have yet to have Trans probs.
One blew a converter, but trans is fine.
I think it will work for me.
If it didnt have a warranty i'd prob forget it. But for the money i think it will be great. Im laid off right now and money is a premium.

But im betting it will hold up . I dont drag race all the time, just daily drive, street play. Occasion trip twice a year to the strip.
If they last in a Bolt on TBSS AWD, im sure it will be fine in mine Im thinking.
All opinions welcome. This can be a good discussion
