going from 0/2 to 3/5 drop
who here has a 3/5 drop on a 2wd
im thinkin of gettin the belltech 3" drop coils and 3" drop leafs, anybody ever used either one or maybe both?
i already have a 2" shackle and want to go with a 3/5 drop
do you guys think my wheels/tires will work, 20x9s w/ 275/45R20s, not sure on backspacing but its definetely not optimal
im gonna do just springs for now, then a c-notch, QA1s, and finally hotchkis sways
here are some links to the springs

its going to be a ruff ride!
i would go djm 4/6!! you will thank yourself in the end.
I had a 2" drop rear only
2/4 belltech coils/ hotchkis leafs
4/6 DJM the best so far! Rides stock and looks sweet!!!

i was really wanting a compromise between the 2/4 and 4/6 because the roads are pretty rough around where i live and i dont think i could get in my driveway with 4/6
i dont want it as soft as stock but dont want it to ride like it doesnt have any shocks either
ill be keeping a 275/45 tire so that should help some rather than going to a 40 series or lower
how did the 2/4 ride

yea i pretty well knew the new springs would be stiffer and rougher-riding
did you have 275/45s with that drop and if so was it roughly unbearable or just performance rough

yep sure did!
It was just a bumpy ride, it was ok but got old quick!
now the handling was great!
I would go with Mcgaughs 2" drop spindles with a one inch drop coil for the front and hangers in the back with a 3" shackle!
they do make a 3" drop shackle, you kust have to search for it!
it will cost more but....
That will give you the best ride!

they were ok, they are great for traction!!
You could feel all the bumps in the road, then again i do live in LA where all roads suck, so you may love them!
we just have the worst roads in the country!
