If I had some coin right now I'd go for the new Belltech's, Trever gave them 2 thumbs up and seems to be a reliable source.

stock shocks on the 4" rear drop, and i just added rancho 9000 adjustables to the rear of mine and those ride great too.

the doetschtechs were really stiff shocks and rode rough.

I was torn between the Edelbrocks & the Belltech StreetShock. I went w/ the Belltech's based upon a person's opinion on here that I value. If I don't like them, well... : He'll get 1 of these.

Ya, me too! Thanks again. I'll let u know. I put in some good words for you, even tho I did'nt have to. But that's how I roll. When someone is decent to you, I believe the favor should be returned.
I should see em in a week. I won't be able to install unless it's a Sunday, my day off (hopefully a dry one). This time of year, I'll prolly have snow & wet stuff drippin on me.

Had my Belltechs arrive yesterday. Hopefully, weather permitting, I'll put em on this weekend.

Swapped out my rear shocks for Belltech. My bro thinks my truck rides like stock but now it's dropped. He actually likes em more than my QA1s. I told him the QA1s were set more firm by me than when I 1st set them up (softer) & took him for a ride.

I will say this, if u want to try a set of non adjustable shocks, give these Belltechs a try. I'd love to try some Edelbrocks down the road just to compare theirs, but don't see buyin a set just for giggles. Now if someone donates some Edelbrocks, I'll evaluate them.

If I ever buy another truck to drop or it needs shocks, I'd do Belltech StreetShock or Edelbrock IAS. I'll prolly do Edelbrocks on my 89 C1500 RCLB just to try em on something.

All that said, I love these Belltechs. Thanks Bill. When it's not so cold out, the fronts are going on --> spring09.
